A major protest erupted in Noida as factory workers demanded a minimum monthly wage of ₹20,000. The demonstration escalated into violence, forcing police to intervene and restore order.
Protesters highlighted issues such as unpaid overtime, unsafe work environments, and lack of basic facilities. Many workers said they are forced to work under difficult conditions without adequate compensation.
The administration has assured that labour laws will be enforced and workers’ grievances will be addressed. However, strict action has been promised against those involved in violent activities.
